What does every community desire…soccer fields! Thanks to the Prop 84 grant, Live Oak gets to live the soccer dream. Starting with two fields, with complete build out at five fields, the soccer community can now improve their game by having high quality fields. The idea is to plan for at least one synthetic field so they can play all year long. The five fields will allow them to host tournaments and attract better players and teams to Live Oak. Once completed this park will improve youth sports in the Live Oak community and create a great place for families to come together and enjoy the play grounds, picnic areas and trail systems! Congratulations to Live Oak.

Paradise Recreation and Park District (PRPD) Builds Momentum for Lake Ridge Park
A community meeting was facilitated by Greg Melton, who dug deep to come up with great ideas for the new park. “The community of Magalia really wants to have a legacy that provides its youth with a safe and educational place to go and enjoy mother nature. There is a lot of rich history in Magalia, from the Native Americans to the Gold Rush, we are hoping to demonstrate and interpret the history for the youth and visitors of the Paradise community. The first element of the park is focused on the Botanical Garden. There is great support from local clubs and neighbors to put in a botanical garden with native and edible plants that will educate our community. Mike Trinca of the PRPD is moving forward with infrastructure and is looking forward to spring to get access to the park. An exciting new project for Melton Design Group and we look forward to enhancing another park in beautiful Paradise.
